So far today has been great! Payton woke up dry and he has told me EVERY TIME he has had to pee. It is so night and day from yesterday. You have no idea how happy I am that we did not put him back in a diaper yesterday. I am so so so happy!!!

So today is day number 5 of Paytons potty training and I am pretty sure he was not ready to start peeing in the potty. The first 3 days he was terrified to sit on the toilet and every time I would sit him down he would just scream and cry. So he learned to hold his pee in as long as possible and he really does not like to tell me when he needs to go potty. It has been quite a rough 5 days and I am debating whether to put him back in a diaper and wait a few more months!!! Frustrating!

So today is day number 3 of Paytons potty training. It has been quite rough but we have made some major progress. He finally peed in the potty today and he wasn't screaming like he has been. I am getting better at distracting him while he is sitting on the potty AND.... he has had two accident free nights!!! I cannot wait until he is finished but I am so proud of him so far.

So today is the first day of Potty Training. I am doing the "Potty Train your child in 3 days" program. So far for peeing it is UNDERWEAR: 4 POTTY: 0 but I am staying optimistic. One of our good friends showed this program to me. She just finished with her little boy and she said it worked in just 3 days!!! So lets all hope I can stick with it:) (Payton is so skinny that no underwear really fit him... I think its cute)

Happy New Year everyone! We are so excited for 2010. It is going to be a wonderful year. Brock is still in school and he works at a chemical warehouse when he can. I just finished school and am trying to find a job as a medical transcriptionist so I can work from home. Payton turns two on friday!!! I cannot believe it is going by so fast. He is getting quite tall but is still skinny as ever. He is very smart and can throw the ball unbelievable hard:) Well we hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Here are all of the grandbabies at Grandma and Grandpa Jo's. Our Johanson Family Christmas was a lot of fun and all the kids definitely got spoiled:) Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Here we are Christmas Eve at the Gallup house. We had just opened up and put on our Christmas Eve PJ's. Payton is also holding, and trying to eat, the cookie he decorated for Santa:)

Payton and Miley are sporting their new PJ's. They are so stinkin cute together! They play together so well it is awesome. Payton got Mickey Mouse PJ's because it is his favorite show ever:) He absolutely loves watching Micky Mouse Clubhouse every morning.
Merry Christmas from Brock Cory and Payton! We had a great Christmas here in Poky. Christmas Eve we went over to the Gallups for our traditional Christmas Eve spaghetti dinner. Then we loaded up on the for our hay ride through Santa Clause lane where we sang Christmas Carols and looked at the lights. It is always so much fun:) We spent the night at the Gallups and luckily Santa found us there for Christmas Day. Payton got a little bit spoiled this year but he definitely deserves it. He is the sweetest little boy ever!!!

About Me

My photo
Hello... and welcome to the Johanson Family blog:) I have to admit I am new at this and I am having kind of a hard time figuring this out haha. Anyways... about our family. Payton is, as always, quite the little stud! He is 14 months now and he almost weighs 20lbs. Hopefully we will be able to put him in a forward sitting seat soon. He loves anything that involves music. He loves to bang on the rockband drums over and over. He can even keep a rythm, for a very short period of time:) And he loves listening to dad sing and play the guitar. He will sit and listen for as long as dad wants to play. It is adorable! Brock is still in school at ISU. He starts his new job today which is a huge blessing!!! He has also been working on his music quite a bit. His new song is amazing! As for me I am still doing school on line. I have been in my last class for quite a while and I am hoping to finish really soon. I can then get a job as a Medical Transcriptionist and hopefully work from home. I am also playing on a tennis team with my mom. It is pretty fun:) I get to go to the Country Club every tuesday and have team lessons with Dennis the Tennis Pro! Overall... the Johansons are doing great!!!
